An Endoscopic Brow Lift, also commonly known as Endo Brow Lift, Eyebrow Lift, Endotine Brow Lift, raises brows that have descended and are encroaching on the eyelids. At Line Plastic Surgery, we offer Endoscopic Brow Lifts with a few small incisions hidden in the hairline that targets descended brows, as well as deeper forehead wrinkles. Our doctors assess each patient by looking at the position of the eyebrows relative to the underlying bone, forehead size, hairline, and the overall facial harmony to see where the brows should be. Then, a specialized bioabsorbable system called “Endotines” is used to reposition the forehead tissues. Depending on the patient, they may also need an Upper Blepharoplasty or Below Brow Lift to combat excess skin underneath the brows.

BEST CANDIDATES FOR ENDOSCOPIC BROW LIFT SURGERY

– Patient whose brows sag or hang over their eyelids, resulting in a frustrated or sad expression
– Patients with deeper forehead wrinkles that can’t be addressed through Botox or laser treatments
– Patients who lack forehead elasticity, and want to lift the appearance of their brows, upper eyelids, and forehead

CONSULTATION

Our doctors will first ask the patient about their concerns and goals regarding their face. Next, we will evaluate the patient’s existing anatomy, looking at the current forehead skin laxity and position of the brows and upper eyelids. Depending on the patient, we will explore various treatment options, including non-surgical procedures such as Botox. Once the patient and doctor has discussed and weighed several options and decide an Endoscopic Brow Lift will give the best result, a surgical plan will be individualized for the patient.

SURGERY DETAILS

Endoscopic Brow Lift surgery is an outpatient surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia and takes approximately 1.5 hour. Our doctors will make a few small incisions, hidden behind the hairline. Without removing any skin, our doctors will use specialized equipment, or Endotines, to lift and secure the soft tissues into an upward position. Endotines are bioabsorbable implants which will be dissolved in within a year, providing a structural framework for your own body to adjust to the newly repositioned tissues of the upper face. Then, the small incisions will be sutured with stitches.

FROM OUR DOCTORS

“Both forehead sagging and brow drooping are nicely fixed with this, and both the endoscopic and open methods are great depending on whether the patient has a large appearing forehead and needs skin removed. Alternatively, this can also be combined with hair transplant to lower the hairline too after the brow/forehead is lifted.

– DR. HSU
