SURGERY DETAILS
J Plasma is an outpatient non-invasive procedure performed under local or general anesthesia and typically requires 1 hour. During the procedure, our doctors will make miniscule incisions made where the J Plasma probe will be inserted. The probe will be inserted, and the J Plasma machine will safely release radiofrequency energy and helium to rapidly heat and cool down the tissues and skin. Then, the incisions will be sutured with stitches.
RECOVERY & POST OPERATION
– Our doctors will provide every patient with post-operative instructions.
– Patients will need to wear a compression garment according to our timelines to promote healing.
– Patients should rest for at least 3 to 5 days after treatment.
– Patients will experience mild swelling and bruising for 1 to 2 weeks after treatment.
– Mild pain is normal and can be treated with over the counter pain medication.
