Gluteal Implant Surgery is a cosmetic procedure that involves inserting silicone implants into the buttocks to enhance their size and shape. Despite working out or eating well, it can be difficult or impossible due to genetics to maintain a curvier figure. With a more permanent implant material like silicone placed just under the gluteal muscle, the buttocks will retain a rounder, perkier shape for a long time, giving patients that attractive S-curve they desire while still having that natural and flexible feel. Booking your gluteal implant surgery with LINE Plastic Surgery with one of our board-certified body plastic surgeons will ensure that you have the best and safest result. This surgery can be done standalone or as an addition to a Brazilian Butt Lift.
BEST CANDIDATES FOR GLUTEAL IMPLANT SURGERY
– Patients who like having firmer, perkier, rounder buttocks
– Patients who are not a good candidate for BBL surgery due to low fat percentage but still want more volume
– Patients who can’t achieve the look they want simply through diet and exercise due to genetics and want a customizable implant
– Patients who want to boost their self-confidence when wearing swimwear and clothing items
– Patients with an asymmetry of the buttocks they want corrected
CONSULTATION
Our doctors will first ask the patient about their desired look for their buttocks, such as shape and volume. Next, we will evaluate the patient’s existing anatomy, looking at the current shape of the glutes and skin laxity. Depending on the patient, we will focus on customizing the silicone gluteal implant to fill out three possible areas of the buttocks — the bottom, middle, and top. Altogether, these will make up an ideal, enhanced contour of the behind that is proportionate to the rest of the body. Once the patient and doctor have discussed and weighed several treatment options, a surgical plan will be individualized for the patient.
SURGERY DETAILS
Gluteal implant surgery is an outpatient surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia which takes approximately 2 hours. The incision is made carefully between the buttocks so that it will be nicely hidden. During the procedure, the silicone implant will be inserted under the gluteal muscle and adjusted to fit the natural contour of the glutes. Then, the incisions will be sutured with stitches.

– Patients will typically be able to return to work after 2-3 weeks when the swelling and bruising have decreased.
FROM OUR DOCTORS

“We can enhance the projection of the buttocks with an implant. This is a great option for very skinny patients who may not have enough body fat to get as big of an impact with fat grafting.”
– DR. RAHGOZAR
